Sanjay Kopay brings a wealth of expertise to Atlas, shaped by nearly three decades in the golf cart industry. A native of Augusta, GA, Sanjay began his career in 1996 at E-Z-GO Textron, where he led Supplier Quality initiatives and steadily rose through the ranks to become Vice President of the Genuine Parts & Accessories division.
He later brought his strategic vision to Club Car, where he led the consumer division and was instrumental in the creation and launch of the widely acclaimed Onward line of consumer vehicles.
For Atlas customers, Sanjay’s leadership means more than experience—it means trusted insight, proven innovation, and a deep understanding of what makes a golf cart perform at its best. His track record ensures that every Atlas vehicle is built with quality, reliability, and the end user in mind.
Hailing from Aiken, SC, Mark Messick began his career in the golf cart industry at just 27 years old, joining E-Z-GO as a customer service representative. From the beginning, Mark was focused on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that enhanced the ownership experience. During his time there, he played a key role in the launch of several industry-leading accessories—innovations that continue to shape the market today.
Mark later took on a senior leadership role at Club Car as Senior Product Manager, where he worked alongside Sanjay Kopay to develop and launch the highly successful Onward brand.
For Atlas customers, Mark’s blend of front-line customer insight and high-level product development expertise ensures every vehicle is designed with the end user in mind. His commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction is a driving force behind Atlas’s mission to deliver best-in-class golf carts.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Jake Guinn brings over 16 years of hands-on experience in the golf cart industry to Atlas. He began his career in 2007 at E-Z-GO, where he worked alongside Mark and Sanjay, playing a key role in the rapid growth of the Genuine Parts & Accessories division. His deep understanding of product value and customer needs helped shape offerings that elevated the user experience.
Throughout his 14-year tenure at E-Z-GO, Jake held several high-impact sales roles and was recognized multiple times as Sales Manager of the Year—a testament to his dedication to customer success and strategic growth. He further broadened his industry knowledge with leadership roles at Nivel Parts & Manufacturing, Tomberlin USA, and Star EV.
For Atlas customers, Jake’s experience means more than a strong résumé—it translates to unmatched product knowledge, a deep understanding of customer priorities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support. His customer-first mindset ensures that every interaction with Atlas adds value and builds trust.
Aaron Gouldie's connection to the golf cart industry runs deep. Raised around his family’s dealership in Austin, TX, he developed an early appreciation for the evolving needs of golf cart owners. Recognizing a growing demand for customization, Aaron launched Golf Cart King, which quickly became one of the largest and most trusted online retailers of golf cart accessories in the industry.
Building on that success, he established several dealerships in the greater Austin area and went on to found MODZ, a leading aftermarket accessories brand now carried by thousands of golf cart dealerships nationwide.
For Atlas customers, Aaron’s entrepreneurial background and deep market knowledge translate into products and experiences that are innovative, customer-driven, and tailored to real-world needs. His understanding of both retail and manufacturing gives Atlas a competitive edge—ensuring customers receive high-quality, stylish, and functional solutions that enhance every ride.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas during the city’s tech boom, Landon Wisser built his career marketing technology start-ups and a health food company before turning his expertise toward the golf cart industry. He and Aaron grew up together in Austin and attended the same high school, creating a long-standing friendship that later evolved into a successful business partnership.
Over the past decade, Landon played a key role in helping Aaron grow Golf Cart King and MODZ into two of the most recognized names in the golf cart industry.
That experience directly benefits Atlas customers today. Landon’s proven ability to strengthen brands, understand customer needs, and deliver products that stand out ensures that Atlas carts represent reliability, style, and lasting value. When Aaron shared his dream of launching a new golf cart brand in 2022, Landon was instrumental in bringing that vision to life with Atlas, a company built on innovation and customer confidence.
Eli Beeson grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where his passion for golf began as a young caddy at The Minikahda Club. An accomplished golfer with a degree in Complex Golf Management, he built his career through roles as an Assistant Golf Professional, Director of Golf, and General Manager before being recruited by Garia, one of the most prestigious luxury golf cart brands in the world. His time at Garia, which later became part of Club Car, gave him firsthand experience in delivering premium quality and luxury craftsmanship.
With more than 14 years in the golf cart industry and a lifetime spent around the game, Eli understands what golfers truly need from their carts. His unique blend of golf expertise and luxury cart experience ensures that Atlas delivers vehicles designed with the perfect balance of performance, comfort, and reliability. Every Atlas cart is built with golfers in mind, offering not only dependable quality but also the elevated experience that discerning players expect both on and off the course.
Born and raised in Buena Vista, Virginia, Dave Simpson grew up with a competitive spirit shaped by athletics and teamwork. That drive carried into his professional life, where he built over 30 years of experience in operations, supply chain, and logistics.
Dave spent more than a decade in leadership with Club Car, one of the most respected names in the golf cart industry. During his time there, he focused on improving product quality, streamlining supply chains, and ensuring dependable on-time delivery. His leadership helped set benchmarks for operational excellence and product reliability that are still recognized in the industry today.
Now at Atlas, Dave applies this wealth of experience to every detail of the business. His proven ability to oversee complex operations and maintain rigorous quality standards ensures that Atlas customers receive carts that are safe, reliable, and consistently built to perform at the highest level.
